Paruby: the Pentagon is considering supplying lethal weapons Ukraine

The issue of granting Ukraine lethal weapons is still open and being discussed in the Ministry of defense of the United States of America.

This was stated by the speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Andrei Parubiy at the end of the visit the Pentagon during his official visit to the United States, the press service of the Parliament.

In particular, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, noting the urgency and importance of providing lethal weapons to Ukraine, noted that this question, like the question of strengthening sanctions, lifted only at the Pentagon.

“He’s not off the agenda, the issue of debate. And if earlier it was a negative decision, today the question remains open”, – said Parubiy.

However, he assured that “there is a negative answer, the debate is open”.

“The selection of weapons is discussed, it has both technical and symbolic importance for strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and the USA”, – said the speaker.
