The introduction of visa regime with the Russian Federation is still relevant, despite the improvement of the procedure of entry to Ukraine of foreigners and persons without citizenship, said the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andrew Parubiy.
“This issue does not remove the urgency of the introduction of visas for citizens of the Russian Federation. I continue to hold this question on control, and then I will look for supporters for this decision. I hope that we will also be able to find a positive solution”, – he said at a briefing.
However, Parubiy stressed that the introduction of biometric controls at the border with Ukraine is a correct step.
“This is the right move, which is aimed at limiting limitless entry to Ukraine citizens of the Russian Federation”, – concluded the speaker.
