Team of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and former Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk for a few weeks are in talks about merging into a single party for the next election. However, the negotiations are slow and difficult.
This is stated in the article in the online edition “Ukrainian Pravda” under the title “people’s front, Petro Poroshenko, or the Only party of power”.

But the core of the new party can become Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko, the head of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy, the Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman, Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov and former Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk. It is noted that while Parubiy allegedly there is a clause.
According to the article, politicians are still not agreed on who will head the new party. So, Yatsenyuk advocated that the leader was a candidate for Prime Minister. In the “Block of Petro Poroshenko” does not exclude the possibility that goals may be few.
Moreover it is decided on the basis of which of the political forces will create the party. It is now planned to first start a “social movement” and “Block of Petro Poroshenko” and “popular front” will begin to unite the local cell.
It is noted that the participation of the mayor of Kiev and part of the formal head of the “Block of Petro Poroshenko” Vitaly Klitschko in the new project is not defined. Klitschko and his “BLOW” I do not know about the unification talks.
First tried to speak so that there were two sides: Poroshenko and PPB on the one hand, Yatsenyuk and NF on the other. But the conversation didn’t get far. Now Poroshenko separately, separately Lutsenko, separately Groisman, separately, Yatsenyuk, Avakov and so on. Everyone is trying to knock out more for yourself, – said one of the colleagues Poroshenko.
“There are no quotas now, no. We have the top ten to choose from. Whatever you look, and everywhere there are issues for people. But it will be worse with the “mazhoritarka”. First, not everyone wants to go from the “party of power”, and, secondly, not so many strong candidates,” – said one of participants of negotiations from the “popular front”.
Meanwhile, the team Poroshenko said: “If we are able to unite till the end of the year. Until the New year if nothing happens – means, not destiny.”
It is noted that “Block of Petro Poroshenko” are afraid to “people’s front” did not go into opposition.
The publication adds that Poroshenko wants to become a single candidate from the power on elections to go for a second term of presidency. According to sources in the “Block of Petro Poroshenko” in late August “was said to make up”.
