New Zealand world champion in the heavyweight version WBO Joseph Parker struck Hughie fury’s first defeat in professional ring.
In a battle with fury-Junior Parker in Manchester held the second defense of the WBO title, won in December 2016 after the victory over the Mexican Andy Ruiz.
Champion, knowing that fury is the factor of home refereeing, took the center of the ring and began to work with the first number. Very creative attack Parker was no different – the kiwi, like the tank, head was forward, simultaneously throwing out the sweeping blows which
Fury without problems coped.
The applicant could count on rounds, if his actions was not limited to sluggish jabs and empty the legwork on the ring. Tactics fury would be understandable if the Briton in the second half of the fight intensified, but nothing happened.
Parker in the final round several times got fury, but he stoically endured all the missed blows and potenzial to the final bell.
The decision of the majority of judges (114-114, 118-110 and 118-110) Joseph Parker retained the WBO title belt, but did not show, due to what’s going to win the other top boxers of the division – Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder.
