Opening campaign-2018: new rules

Students were warned about the new rules.

The Ministry of education approved the terms of admission to universities in 2018.

Reception of applications and documents from entrants will start on July 12 and will end on 20 July (for those who entered on the basis of creative competitions, exams or job interviews) and 26 July (who will act according to the certificates).

The rating list of entrants will publish on August 1.

One of the innovations of the entrance campaign will be the reduction in the number of applications that may apply to applicants from nine to seven. As well as the introduction of a minimum number of points required for admission on the specialty “Stomatology”, “Medical” and “Pediatrics”. The universities themselves set the threshold score for admission, but for future physicians it needs to be at least 150.

Recall that in 2018, higher education institutions will make the certificates 2016, 2017 and 2018, except for assessments for English, French, German and Spanish. Scores in these foreign languages will only be accepted on the certificates of external evaluation in 2018.

For competitive selection of applicants universities will be credited points certificates (results of entrance examinations and creative competitions) for the three competitive items.
