One of the squares of Kiev want to rename in honor Nemtsov

About renaming said Klitschko.

In Kiev in the near future one of the squares of the city may be named after Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov. This was stated by the mayor of the capital Vitali Klitschko.

Klitschko said that the murder of Nemtsov is a Russian reality, when people pay with their lives for a second opinion.

“Are you sure this was a political assassination for his views and criticism of the authorities”, – said the mayor.

The ability to rename objects in Kiev in honor Nemtsov Klitschko discussed with his daughter, now such a proposal will make to the city Council session.

“I am confident that this issue will be voted on. We have already determined the square and discussed the possibility of the monument. Soon we will make a decision on these issues,” – said Klitschko.

We will remind, opposition politician and public figure Boris Nemtsov was killed in Moscow on the evening of 27 February 2015. The Moscow district military court on 13 June 2017 sentenced the killer Nemtsov Zaur Dadaev to 20 years of imprisonment.
