SAP sent to the Solomianskyi district court the petition for arrest of property of Alexander Avakov.
Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office sent to the Solomianskyi district court the petition for arrest of the property of a suspect in the embezzlement of 14 million UAH of public funds son of interior Minister Alexander Avakov. On Thursday, November 2, UKRINFORM reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry.
“The property of a private person under a provisional arrest in accordance with part 9 of article 170 of the Criminal procedure code. Now is directed to court the petition for arrest of property”, – said the source.
SAP also intends to send to the court a request for seizure of property of two other suspects in the so-called “case of the backpacks” – the former Deputy Minister of internal Affairs Sergey Chebotar and head of the IT company Turboseo Volodymyr Lytvyn.
