On the border with Poland discovered a huge amount of drugs

An unusual “find” found the staff of the checkpoint.

At the crossing point Rava-Ruska in a wrecked car, the guards found nearly 60 kg of drugs.

This was reported by press Secretary of the state border service Oleg Slobodyan.

“Investigators Western regional administration of state frontier service together with SBU in the procedural management of Prosecutor’s office of Lviv region have stopped attempt of import to Ukraine a large consignment of drugs”, – he wrote.

According Slobodyan, in the checkpoint “Rava-Ruska” to enter Ukraine arrived tow truck “Mercedes”, which transported the car after the accident, the same brand. During the inspection border guards discovered plastic bags with the compressed substance of green color. In a broken-down car was found 143 briquettes with hashish total weight of 58 kilograms and 485 grams.

It is reported that the driver of the tow truck and wrecked car were citizens of Moldova.

Conducted investigations and counts the number of found substances with narcotic effect. The owner of the car after the accident faces criminal liability for article 305 of the criminal code for smuggling drugs.
