The festival aims to popularize science.
On Saturday, September 23 at 11:00 in the Park named after Taras Shevchenko will start the festival “Scientific picnics”. The event will bring together scientists from research institutes, universities, scientific groups and schools, who by example demonstrate that science is interesting, useful and relevant to society.
“Scientific Picnics” are interactive experiments for the residents of different cities of Ukraine. The project aims to popularize science among children, pupils, students and young parents, said co-organizer of the event Kiev youth centre.
The festival is held annually in may and September in different cities of the country. The organizers entertained the guests, revealing the secrets of physics, chemistry, biology and other fields of science.
