Officially. Yarmolenko is a player Dortmund “Borussia”

The leader of “Dynamo” and national team of Ukraine Andriy Yarmolenko officially presented as a player of Borussia Dortmund.

The German club at the official website confirmed the transition Yarmolenko 27 – year-old winger signed from Borussia Dortmund contract until 30 June 2021.

The transfer amount is not specified. The authoritative German edition “Bild” reported earlier that the Dynamo will go for their leader of 30 million euros. If this information is received official confirmation, Yarmolenko will be the most expensive player in the history of Ukraine. In the meantime, this status belongs to the current AEK defender Dmytro Chygrynskyy, whom Barcelona in 2009 paid Shakhtar for 25 million euros.

“Andrew is a player we hunted for a long time, and playing at the highest level both at club level and national team of Ukraine”, – commented on the transfer Yarmolenko sports Director Borussia Dortmund Michael Zorc.

Yarmolenko played “Dynamo” from July 2008. In all competitions, the St. Petersburg native has played 339 matches in which he scored 137 goals and gave up 89 assists.

“I am very grateful that the Kiev “Dynamo” has fulfilled my dream to have the opportunity to go to a big European club! I will work on each workout to help Borussia achieve its ultimate goal,” said Yarmolenko.

In connection with the international break debut of Andriy Yarmolenko in Borussia Dortmund no earlier than September 9, when Borussia Dortmund in the third round of the Bundesliga will play against Freiburg.
