A well-known blogger and consultant on nutrition Anastasiya Goloborodko told the Ukrainians, like to eat in winter, not to overeat.

Lunch – vegetable cream soup (without cream) or mushroom and risotto – a portion of green leaf lettuce. For dinner I bake in the oven for 2-3 kinds of vegetables and meat or fish. Head of lettuce, a bundle of arugula or spinach, chard is always in the fridge,” she says.

“Adding olive oil and lemon juice, a handful of nuts or soft goat’s cheese, you can get a much lighter dish than a traditional “Caesar” salad with sour cream dressing, or heavy weight classics – “Olivier”. And some cucumbers, asparagus, radishes or peppers on the grill, eaten before a meal, will transform the party into a more useful,” added Anastasia.

Morning cereal, according to Goloborodko, you can boil water or coconut milk and berries to regular or unsweetened fruit – add one type of nut, pumpkin seeds or sesame seeds. Fill them delicious, unrefined oil.

Also do not forget about water.

“Drinking is not a mechanical quenching thirst. Health, strong body, good health and the figure kept on a few fundamental pillars. One of them is correct, timely and drink plenty of liquids. The trick is that the water, nothing can replace. No fresh juice or green smoothie or herbal tea, filter coffee or match. And without sports people daily lose water through sweat, secretions, breath and skin, especially during sleep. And because water carries nutrients to cells and removes them from the waste. Therefore, it is important to drink a glass or two of pure water after waking and before each meal, and at the slightest sign of thirst. This will already be enough,” – says a consultant on nutrition.

In addition, the expert reminded the Ukrainians: in the winter everything goes in mulled wine, good and regular food (ginger with herbs – fish, nutmeg, cloves in the morning banana pancakes, cinnamon – together with Chile to Turkey, etc.).

“After every meal, watching a movie, with friends, with children always have a choice: to lie on the couch or go for a walk. While crunches under the feet of the white snow and pink cheeks from the cold, while the air is crystal clean, not dusty, not stuffy, even a 15-minute walk will be in favor,” concluded Anastasia.
