Nutritionists suggested what to replace sweets

Sugar cravings for many is a problem.

But how to quench your desire without harm to the figures and the body, know American nutritionists. .

If you feel that you want to eat something sweet, do not rush to buy in the supermarket chocolate, because there are products that satisfy the need for sweets, and, however, saturate the body and do not harm the figure.

Peanut butter and jelly.

Sandwich with peanut butter and jelly crunchy and healthy treat, says nutritionist Sharon Palmer. Take a slice of gluten-free yeast-free bread with seeds and brush it with butter and jelly. So you will be satisfied, and rejoice in the sweet.

Homemade frozen yogurt.

“I cook your frozen yogurt in a food processor, blending frozen fruit and Greek yogurt. I also add some walnuts or almonds, dried cranberries and a little stevia for sweetness. Turns out very tasty low-calorie dessert that contains protein, calcium and other nutrients,” says dietitian and author Sandra Woodruff.

Banana slices.

“I slice the banana into thin slices and freeze, and then sprinkle them with cocoa powder. It turns out the natural banana sweetness without sugar. This treat is very tasty and low in calories,” advises nutritionist dawn Jackson Blatner.

Smoothies.

“I prepare homemade fruit smoothie by mixing your favorite fruits or berries with ice and sparkling water. In the drink feels a sweet aroma of fruit with no added sugar or artificial ingredients. These healthy smoothies are liked by both adults and children. For the best flavor you can add mint or lemon,” says licensed psychologist and certified nutrition specialist Nicole Beurkens.

Energy balls with dates.

“I like the energy balls with dates, almond butter and dark chocolate. The taste they resemble candy and fully satisfy the desire to eat something sweet. Dates are a good source of dietary fiber, vitamin A, potassium, iron, calcium, and magnesium. Almond butter contains protein, and dark chocolate – antioxidants,” says health coach, caryn O’sullivan.

Coconut-cherry-chocolate smoothie.

“I cook delicious and healthy smoothie by mixing 240 ml coconut milk 140 g frozen cherries and 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder. To drink this smoothie at any time of day without harming the figure,” – says nutritionist Stephanie Dunn.

Raw honey.

“When I want sweet, there is nothing better than a tablespoon of pure raw honey. It can also be mixed with half a tablespoon of natural cocoa powder and a tablespoon of coconut oil. Raw honey is an excellent source of enzymes, cocoa powder rich in antioxidants and coconut oil provides the body with energy and helps to burn fat,” says nutritionist Susan Schenk.
