They know the value of life.
In our life so many things that are harder to handle than cancer. But these people were stronger than the disease. All the characters in the photographs below won one of the world’s leading causes of death. Some of them were still children when they were diagnosed, others became ill in adulthood. Some said that they will live for some time, others did not give a chance. If they fought ovarian cancer, brain tumors, leukemia or rhabdomyosarcoma, they did not give up, showing the immense power of the human spirit.

Sophie beat cancer three years ago and is still healthy.
Exactly a year difference between photos. Stage four rhabdomyosarcoma. The doctors gave her only three months, but she won.
“In 1999 I was diagnosed with stage four leukemia. The doctors said that I have 10% to survive. My parents and I decided to try the experimental chemo, and it worked. For 14 years I am cancer free”.
