In the Federation Council proposed to cut new year holidays because of days off.
The need to reduce holidays to three days, Senator Andrey Kutepov explained the importance of maintaining the country’s economy after the losses from coronationstreet Christmas holidays in 2021 can be reduced to three days — from January 1 to January 3. The draft amendment to the Labour code was developed by the Chairman of the economic policy Committee of the Federation Council Senator from St.-Petersburg Andrey Kutepov. He believes that such measure will allow to compensate for Russia’s losses from the introduction in 2020 regime holidays designed to slow the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19.
“In order to compensate for the number of forced days off to support the economy of enterprises and organizations, the bill proposes to reduce, in 2021, the period of the Christmas holidays and to make the working week from 4 to 8 January, with the exception of 7 January”, — stated in the explanatory note to the bill Kutepova received by RBC.
In the current version of the Labour code, in the Christmas holidays included — subject to note 7 January Nativity of Christ — all the days from 1 to 8 January.
