Nischuk said about “Russian” the scandal surrounding the “Eurovision” in Kiev

The Minister of culture of Ukraine Yevhen Nischuk said about the fact that Ukraine no one in the EBU is not going to be punished for the modification of the rules, for the incident with the Russian contestant.

In addition, the Minister commented on the huge fees for Ukrainian stars at the Eurovision song contest.

“To be honest, I don’t pay attention. Because, first, it does not pass through the Ministry of culture, and secondly, all built on a commercial basis and to tell someone what and how much should it cost, a public servant is hardly correct. No, of course I have thoughts of what can actually worth, but no more.

In preparation for the contest from the beginning was moments like these, when, for example, claimed the amount of a payment to top management of the competition. Experts translate amounts in measuring such things in the European reality, the equivalent of hryvnia to foreign currency, and argue that this is quite normal. We are just worried about the budget and understand the circumstances in which Ukraine lives and what more we need money, but we cannot dictate the conditions of the main organizer of the contest the European broadcasting Union, to whom, for what and how much to pay”, – concluded the Minister of culture.
