A living icon of the zombie movie George A. Romero became the editor of the megaverse book symbolic name “Night of the living dead” (Night of the Living Dead), so that the thematic orientation of the book no doubt.
The anthologist is a famous horror writer Jonathan Mayberry. Hand in hand with Romero and a whole cohort of other authors they created the book, referring readers to the first feature film of the cult Director, the film, which was, in fact, the beginning of the zombie film genre. It is, of course, about the classic film “night of the living dead”, which was first published almost fifty years ago.
About what tells this anthology?
“Night of the living dead” brings us back to that night in 1968 — the first outbreak of the zombie disease, where it all began. Bestselling author Jonathan Mayberry, together with George A. Romero introduced a collection of brand new stories, a story about forty-eight hours of that terrible, insane and legendary events.
Their stories for the anthology was written by the popular writers of the NF and the horror of Brian Keene, Kerry Ryan, Chuck Wendig, Craig Engler, David J. Show, David Wellington, Isaac Marion, J. Bonansinga, Joe R. Lansdale, John Russo, John Skipp, Keith Decandido, Max Brallier, Mike Carey, Mira Grant, Ryan brown, Neal and Brenda Shusterman. In addition, Mayberry and Sam Romero published here their stories.
“Night of the living dead” will be published by St. Martin’s Press (series St. Martin’s Griffin paperback) already on 11 July this year. On the publication in the Russian language yet, of course, unknown.
Well, recall that George Romero did not leave the cinema, and despite the difficulties with financing is going to produce a dashing zombie movie with a social message and races!
