New hatchback Fiat Argo received a sporty design

New Fiat Argo going to replace the Punto, launched in Brazil.

Fiat has launched on the Brazilian market a new model of the Argo, revealing details of the successor to the Punto and Palio. Unlike most of the current products of the manufacturer, the new compact hatchback does not fit the theme of retro design, instead, Argo acquired sportier appearance with sculpted sides and an aggressive front fascia.

Dynamic design combined with the largest cabin in the segment (on the application of the Fiat). Trunk volume is estimated at 300 litres, which is more than the Ford Fiesta. In the cabin the dashboard has received a design similar to the Mercedes A-Class — with three air vents in the center, arranged with a contrast stripe running from edge to edge, and the seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system Uconnect.

The engine range includes three variants: a 1.0-liter, 77-horsepower gasoline unit, a four-cylinder 1,3-liter 109 HP and the top-end version, the 1.8-liter E. torq unit developing capacity of 139 horsepower, which are equipped with the specifications and Precision HGT. According to a statement by Fiat, the latter accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 192 km/h.

Buyers are offered one of three transmissions: a standard five-speed “mechanics”, automatic five-speed GSR and six-speed “automatic”.

Through the use of high-strength steel, the body of the new Fiat Argo increased its torsional stiffness by 7 % and 8% bending stiffness. The automaker also claims that the new vehicle has the lowest noise level in the segment.

In addition, the company offers Mopar car 53 accessory specially designed for Argo. There is a list of 9-inch multimedia centre, and 16-spoke aluminum wheels, speaker system, and special interior lighting, tow hitch, alarm system and Parking sensors.
