The film “Atlantis” (“Cold Skin”) by French Director Xavier Jansen, known for horror of “Boundary” and “Separator”, and soon the speaker in the box with the band “Curse. Our days,” based on the novel by albert Sanchez of Pignola “Cold skin” (also translated under the title “In the heady silence”). Preparing the project already in 2009, and the efforts of the film crew obviously were not in vain, that it is possible to understand the already existing spectacular trailer. The movie is whether lovcraftian horror, or very unconventional love story – the exact definition to give it is still difficult, but it is already clear that it will be a very interesting.
The main character accepts the invitation to work during the year, a meteorologist at a remote island in the middle of the ocean. The only inhabitant of the island, the lighthouse Keeper, doesn’t even go out to greet him. But it will seem simpler after a night spent in a log cabin. After dark, the strange creatures from the water begin the siege of the island…
Having the rights to the Russian film Exhibitor shared a curious selection of frames from the film. Here and snowy lighthouse, and big-eyed sea creature, and bearded ray Stevenson – in General, one feast for the eyes. And on the big screen “Atlantis” will appear on 9 November 2017.
