2017 will go down in history for many reasons, but one of them surely will be the death of Chester Bennington, singer of the popular band Linkin Park – the father of six children, was found hanged in his own residence.
It happened in the summer, in July, and the main version was originally considered a suicide of the musician, which, according to rumors, had problems with alcohol and drugs, plus Bennington was deeply depressed by the suicide of his friend and colleague, vocalist for the band Soundgarden, Chris Cornell, who took his own life earlier a very similar way.
Recently it became known new details of death of Bennington.
First, the results of post-mortem Toxicological examination. And the tabloids were quick to report that in the blood of the deceased had traces of alcohol and ecstasy. This information was denied by another member of Linkin Park, Mike Shinoda, who said that the death of his friend and colleague drugs played no role. Later tabloid TMZ has made changes to their messages, and Shinoda encouraged to follow their example and other media.

To be exact, TMZ has not made a full retraction of their news, and said that the relationship between cause of death and the presence in the body substances have not been proven. At the same time, relatives of the deceased insist on the fact that his blood was not discovered traces of ecstasy.
Secondly, there is information that the Bennington informed at least twice attempted suicide. According to his widow, in 2006, after a failed suicide attempt, Bennington had been prescribed antidepressants before the suicide, however, a musician for more than a year did not take them.
Again, the same TMZ claim that associated with the investigation sources have told them that the widow of Bennington, Talinda, told the coroner that in November 2016 Chester got drunk, he tied himself and jumped into the pool, but at the last moment changed his mind to die, was able to escape his bonds and get out of the water.
