An independent company Saban Films has acquired distribution rights to “Day of the dead”, another remake of the eponymous classic zombie movie by George Romero.
Yes, the master was dead, but zombies it live.
In addition, it is reported that the film may change its name and will be called “day of the dead: kinship” (Day of the Dead: Bloodline) (the options are: “day of the dead: Bloodline”, “day of the dead: Origins”), but that’s not accurate.
This post-apocalyptic story tells us about a former student-doctor, which she is tormented by some dark figure from the past. In fact, this figure is only half-human and half — zombie.
What is the connection with the original? It seems, no.
Recall, the painting was signed by Director Hector Hernandez Vicens (“the Corpse of Anna Fritz”), and the script was written by mark Tonderai (“Whisper of the road of horrors”) and Lars Jacobson (“baby Blues”).
Starring Sophie Skelton (“Stranger”), Jonathon Shek (“what you do”), and Jeff Gum (“breakout Kings”), which, by the way, will play a character named Miguel Salazar. I have something in common with original ribbon Romero.
New “Day of the dead” should occur this year, yet to be announced, in what format, however, the above-named company Saban Films focuses mainly on releases for DirecTV, Digital HD and VOD.
Well, in the meantime, take a look at the hotshots.
