In the Kiev region unknown persons poured red paint on a memorial plaque to the first leader of the OUN, the leaders of the Ukrainian nationalist Yevhen Konovalets.
This was reported by blogger Andrew Kovalev on his page in Facebook on Sunday, may 28.
“That night in Boyarka in the Kyiv region, the criminals poured red paint on a memorial plaque in the city center, which yesterday was consecrated and solemnly opened”, – he wrote.
Kovalev also added that later, a memorial plaque to the first leader of the OUN has been cleaned. Law enforcement and activists are already engaged in search of the bullies.
We will remind, in April with the consent of the head of the commune Stobno in Poland, the nationalists dismantled the monument to the UPA. The police did not intervene. In response, the Ukrainian Institute of national memory has suspended the legalization of the Polish memorial sites in Ukraine.
