In the Kiev region the train hit and killed 11-year-old girl.
The tragedy occurred at 17.20 at the railway station Boyarka, Kievo-Svyatoshinsky district. The child’s body was found 50 metres from the platform.
The train driver was served a warning sound, but the child for unknown reasons just did not react and was hit by a train. 11-year-old girl received injuries incompatible with life.
On this fact initiated criminal proceedings under part 3 of article 276 (violation of safety rules or operating rail, water or air transport) Criminal code of Ukraine. The sanction of article provides imprisonment from five to ten years. Pre-judicial investigation proceeds.
Police establish all the circumstances and causes of the terrible events.
