The National Bank of Ukraine announced the introduction of new banknotes with a nominal value of 1000 hryvnia. The Ministry said all the important information about this bill. On Sunday, September 22, reports the edition “Business.media” with reference to the statement of the head of the NBU.
It is reported that the turnover of 1000 UAH will arrive on 25 October. This information was voiced by the head of the National Bank of Ukraine Yakov Smoliy. He also explained the reasons of the presence on the face of the portrait of Vladimir Vernadsky.
“He was elected for his outstanding contribution to the history of Ukraine as a philosopher, naturalist, founder of a number of new branches of science — Geochemistry, biochemistry, radiogeology. It is also one of the founders and first President of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, established in 1918”,

It is noted that on the reverse side of the banknote of 1000 UAH shows the building of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
The NBU stated that the banknote has fluorescence, infrared and magnetic protection.
“Then the average monthly wage was about 1000 hryvnia and exchanged two notes of the highest denomination. Since that time much has changed. Increased incomes of Ukrainians, the average salary has increased almost 10 times. Now to obtain it you need to have at least 20 banknotes. As a result, has more money in the wallets – the volume of cash in circulation increased more than fivefold, to nearly 380 billion UAH”,

He estimated that after the appearance of the banknotes of 1000 hryvnia, the average salary will be exchanged nine bills.
