NBU has decided to liquidate Bank of New

The New Bank has enough assets to settle its obligations.

The national Bank of Ukraine decided to liquidate the Bank.

This is stated in the message of the Bank in the information disclosure system of the National Commission on securities and stock market (NKTSBFR).

So, on the basis of the decision of Board of National Bank of 31 August 2017 No. 562-rsh to revoke the banking license and liquidation of public joint stock company joint stock Commercial Bank and decisions of the Executive Directorate of the Deposit guarantee Fund of individuals (fgvfl) No. 3907 dated September 1, 2017, the banking license was withdrawn and procedure of liquidation of the Bank New.

According to the annual financial statements confirmed by the auditor’s opinion (report), last year the value of net assets accounted for 1.31 billion, liabilities – UAH 1.26 billion, equity capital amounted to 48.5 million UAH.

As noted, the Bank has enough assets to settle its obligations. It is reported that according to preliminary calculations, the amounts that can be allocated to the shareholders after satisfaction of claims of creditors remains.

We will remind that on 26 June 2017, the extraordinary General meeting of shareholders of the Bank adopted a New decision on termination of banking institutions, without closing a legal entity.

In mid-July, the NBU took the Bank insolvent.
