NBU: banking system in Ukraine was the cleaning process

The crisis in the banking system is behind us, I believe from the regulator.

Member of the Board of the national Bank of Ukraine Fuhrman said on air of the espresso that the banking system in Ukraine was the cleaning process, and the crisis in this sphere already behind.

“The banking system over the past three years, i.e. in 2014, 2015, 2016, went through very difficult times. And we can say that the cleansing of the banking system completed,” he said.

At the same time, Furman noted that this does not mean that banks, especially small, will not go bankrupt or to self-destruct.

“It is clear that it will be, this is a normal process, it happens all over the world. But such as we used to be, when every week packs banks have left the market, this will not happen”, – he assured.

A member of the NBU Council said that today the banking system is clean and you can trust her.
