NBU allowed Tigipko buy “daughter” of the Russian Bank

At present, 99.9% of the “VS Bank” is indirectly owned by Sberbank of Russia.

The national Bank of Ukraine 7 November 2017 agreed on the acquisition of a substantial participation in the “VS Bank” ( “Vieste Bank”), one of the former leaders of the “Party of Regions”, the businessman Sergei Tigipko.

The national Bank of Ukraine agreed on the citizen of Ukraine Tigipko Sergey Leonidovich vstuplenie indirect significant participation in the amount of 99.9% of the share capital of OJSC “Vieste Bank” through a company Bailican Limited (Cyprus) to acquire a 99.9% stake in the Bank,
– said the press service of the regulator.

At present, 99.9% of the “VS Bank” is indirectly owned by Sberbank of Russia.

As of 1 July assets “VS Bank” took twenty-eighth place (36 billion) among the 88 existing banks.
