American cable and satellite channel Chiller, owned by NBCUniversal, aired in March 2007. He specialized in “dark” content: horror, mystery, Thriller. A logical development was the production of their own content. But as they say, not for long music played. The management decided to cover the bench, and the reasons for this decision are not reported.
The original Chiller was maniac series “Slasher” (Slasher), released in 2016. Show went good, but not astounding. A hit “Slasher” did not, but was renewed for a second season. We talked about him:
A severe winter. Former friends reunite at an indoor summer camp, where he worked five years ago. Connects them the terrible secret they kept for all this time. The camp is located in the snowy wilderness, now there private an isolated community, cut off from civilization by the weather and nature. The hidden reason for the return of friends puts strain already difficult relations in the team. Soon the heroes find themselves targeted by someone – or something – a terrible, hungry for revenge. Slowly crawl out amazing secrets and as the weather worsens, grows bloody spree killer.
Now the second season of “the Slasher” features the ubiquitous Netflix. And Chiller will cease to exist on 1 January 2018.
