NATO General advised to resist the Russian Federation its own methods

Tools for deterrence of Russia, the General said Bradshaw should be a hybrid.

British General Adrian Bradshaw, who is Deputy commander of the combined forces of NATO in Europe, called for renewed opposition to Russian aggression.

According to Bradshaw, it is necessary to counter the Russian cyber attacks, propaganda and political agitation.

He insists that the response to hybrid warfare should be a “hybrid containment”.

In an example of the respective levers deterrence General brought the extension of economic sanctions against the Kremlin regime.

In addition, he encouraged the Russian-speaking population in the Baltic countries sources of information, which should be an adequate alternative to Russian propaganda.

Thus, in addition to economic and social instruments to contain Russia, NATO may use diplomatic and even military.
