Protection of the countries-members of NATO starts from Ukraine.
This was stated by Vice-President of the NATO parliamentary Assembly Rasa juknevičienė at the meeting in Tbilisi (Georgia).
In particular, she stressed that Ukraine should be thanking the Alliance for the support, NATO should thank Ukraine, which “is actively implementing the European and democratic values in the Eastern expanses of the European Union.”
“And we clearly understand that protection of our countries starts from Ukraine. For that very grateful,” said Jukneviciene, speaking to the head of the Ukrainian delegation to NATO PA Irina Frieze.
