In NATO believe Kiev too little makes for a rapprochement with the Alliance.
NATO expressed dissatisfaction with the way in Ukraine are the reforms necessary for rapprochement with the Alliance. This was in Brussels, said the representative of Ukraine Vadim pristayko.
“The Alliance is dissatisfied with the implementation of the annual plan, and told us about it directly. They are dissatisfied with the pace of implementation, and this is not the first year, that is not the first program that could learn to execute better,” – declared the diplomat.
According to him, this was the Alliance informed the Ukrainian government. Meanwhile, Pristayko said that Ukraine is facing a very difficult task.
“The program is ambitious in size and scope of obligations. We take on too ambitious goals, which are then unable to perform. We sometimes forget that every task must have a resource – human and financial. Unfortunately, we sometimes commit ourselves to allocating resources,” – said the representative of Ukraine in the Alliance.
However, he stressed that Ukraine does not abandon commitments for adaptation of NATO standards.
“We are working, notes are taken, and we intend to improve the program for next year”, – he stressed.
