Net foreign currency reserves of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) in may increased by $347 million (7.5%), and YTD – $751 million (or 17.8%) to $4.98 billion

Gross foreign exchange reserves of the NBU (including borrowed funds primarily from the IMF) in may increased by $434 million (+ 2.5%) and YTD of $2.07 billion (+ 13.3 percent) to $17.6 billion
Earlier it was reported that in may the net purchase of foreign currency amounted to $521,2 million of Funds from the NBU reserves in may were directed on servicing and repayment of foreign currency debt. Another $71.8 million was directed to payments to the International monetary Fund.
