Photo taken during storms, sweeping over the biggest planet in the Solar system.
For the amazing paint “updated the Jupiter storms”, scientists gave the extraterrestrial storms called “watercolor”. Pictures transmitted to Earth space probe Juno approaching Jupiter at a record close distance.
The station was nearer to Jupiter five months ago, but U.S. researchers space only recently decided to publish the pictures. The photos appeared on the official website of NASA on Twitter. That is reflected in the picture, is the result of severe storms and gales that raged over the South pole of Jupiter at the end of last year. The speed of the “wind” on this planet can reach 430 kilometers per hour.
Pictures “sent” to Earth space station Juno, entered the orbit of Jupiter last summer. The main purpose of the space station, with the ancient name of Juno (“Juno”) is the study of gravitational and magnetic fields of the fifth planet of the Solar system. Another assignment for the interplanetary station, was the study of the atmosphere of the giant and the confirmation of the hypothesis that the center of the gas of Jupiter is solid to the core.
