NASA published a picture of a giant iceberg, which in September last year broke away from Pine Island in Iceland. The picture shows a giant ice block with a height of 315 meters, which is split into twenty separate fragments.

According to the researchers, the ice, which is visible on the left photo, was the cause of such a rapid destruction of the iceberg.
