NASA showed a photo of the waterfalls of lava on Mars.
NASA researchers published a photo of the frozen lava flows on Mars and compared them to Niagara falls on the Earth.
Pictures on earth gave the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) which was launched in 2005, reports the Independent. Image scientists have already called the “Niagara falls of Mars.”
In the photo you can clearly see the edge of a crater with a diameter of 30 kilometers. This crater was once lava flowed and left behind deposits.
In NASA believe that the lava flows were insufficient to fill the other fields of the crater, because on Mars there is a darker patch of lava that overlap the old one.
Also the photo shows that the Martian lava, which was once in a liquid state, behaved like water.
