Scientists say that tobacco smoke contains a substance called acrolein, which, if ingested, triggers the process of formation of cancerous tumors.
Under the action of acrolein damages the DNA of healthy cells and the inhibition of the immune system, causing T cells don’t do their job and greatly increases the risk of developing cancer.
The specialists note that acrolein is also formed by burning of printed products and animal fats. In addition, the toxic substance can enter the body not only by inhalation but also in the use of food and skin contact.
