The experts have tested the new iPhone 8 Plus for battery life and received a record figure: more than 10 hours of continuous operation.

These data were somewhat unexpected, since Apple has reduced the actual capacity of the battery iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

The battery capacity of the iPhone 8 Plus 2 is 675 mAh. However, this did not prevent the iPhone 8 Plus to work 10 hours and 35 minutes on a single charge, which is almost half hour more than the iPhone 7 Plus. This result was largely achieved thanks to a new Bionic chip A11, which is made for 10-nm process technology.

Next in the ranking were smartphones Xiaomi Mi 6 U11 and HTC, which spent just over nine hours. Approximately the same result and third place went to last year’s iPhone 7 Plus. Located next to the fresh iPhone 8.

But charging the iPhone 8 Plus are significantly worse than the competitors. On a full charge the device it takes almost 200 minutes in that time, as all flagships on Android thanks to the support of fast charging to charge twice as fast. The leader here was LG G6, which is charged at around 96 minutes.

It should be noted that in comparison were not involved devices running Android OS with extension QuadHD or QuadHD +, as the energy and power of these devices is much lower.
