Named the most expensive vegetable in the current season

Despite the gradual lowering of prices, vegetables are still expensive

On the market early cabbage for the first time in the last week, prices fell.

According to the monitoring, white cabbage has on offer for 10-15 UAH/kg, while on Monday, the prices sometimes reached the level of 17-18 UAH/kg.

However, cabbage is still the most expensive position in the segment of vegetables in this season.

Besides, the price of cabbage is still at a record high.

Last time, the record prices in this period, was installed in mid-June 2015, however, when it was sold several times cheaper than it is now: 3-3,5 UAH/kg.

This situation of market makers explain, first of all, the reduction of areas under crops of cabbage because of the failure of the prices in 2016.

Accordingly, the volume of products on the market has decreased compared to last year, which resulted in the formation of high prices.
