Where and what mushrooms you can collect in the fall in different regions of Ukraine and how to get there.
Kiev and suburbs
Village of lower Dubechnia – the distance of 39 km away and can be Reached by bus from the metro station “Heroes of Dnepr”. In the village of Nikolaevka (42 km) there are buses from the metro station “Svyatoshyn.” The village of Klavdiyevo (49 km) can be reached from the metro station “Svyatoshin” and from the metro station “Akademgorodok”.
Many mushroom places can be reached from the bus station of Kiev poles’e. It is located on the square of Taras Shevchenko. Although such places farther from the capital, but also competitors-the mushroom is smaller.
Also there is a village Fenevychi, located 65 km from Kiev. At a distance of 100-120 km is located the village of Blidcha and Krasiatychi. Popular among mushroom pickers places are in the direction Yasnogorodka (31 km) and Lyutezh (55 km). They are located respectively West and North from Kiev.
To the Lyutezh can be reached by bus from the bus station “Polesie” or from the metro station “Heroes of Dnepr”. To Yasnogorodka can be reached from the bus station “Dacha” located near the metro station “Zhytomyrska”.
One of the closest places near Kiev will be the forest in the direction of Obukhov. Many mushroom glades can be found, if you go on Novoobukhovskaya highway. The bus in the direction of Obukhov depart from bus station “Vydubychi”.
In Vyshgorod direction in Borodyanka district along the river Zdvizh (Katyuzhanka, Mircea and Dimer), you can find chanterelles.
In Boryspil direction you can go for a quiet hunt in the Old area of the villages, Boryspil Villas, Hotski. There are boletus, boletus, aspen, white mushrooms and russulas.
In addition, in beech and coniferous forests of Transcarpathia you can meet a lot of white mushrooms and chanterelle. Place mushroom about lake Synevir and the village of Lumshory. You can also count on a good catch in the vicinity of the villages of dragovo, Tower and Kolochava. Near Svalyava Transcarpathian region for avid mushroom pickers will fit these villages: Huta Rodnikovka and Solochyn. Near Mukachevo: Mykulyntsi, Il’kivtsi, Happy, Indoor.
In the Kharkiv region well-known locations, gathering mushrooms are Mokhnach village, andriivka, Byshkyn, shelud’kivka, vasyshcheve. In addition, in the vicinity of the Rus’ka Lozova, you can collect quite a lot of mushrooms, and Korobovy farms young elovici full of oil, and sometimes there even are mushrooms.
A good natural location is in the Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions, where many forests and plantations. A whole basket of mushrooms you can gather near the village guards and the village Orlik.
In the Odessa region to look for mushrooms can be found in Yalnizcam the forest and near the village altestovo, Odesa. Experienced mushroom pickers find mushrooms, umbrellas and mushrooms, but common and grebes.
Mushrooms in Zhitomir forests should look on the outskirts of the village Slobidka, High Oven, Perliavka, Oliivka, Bilokorovychi. Also mushroom are Radomyshl, Korostyshiv (buses depart from as “Country”, distance just over 100 km), Malin (can be reached by train from the station “Kiev-Passenger” or “Svyatoshyn”, “Svyatoshino” walk and buses) and the village. Irshans’k on the North of the region (also with “Country”, but this is as much as 154 km).
In the direction of Chernihiv often go sharp, to the woods surrounding the tank firing range of the military unit near the villages of Krekhaiv and Yevmynka. Here you can find Polish mushrooms, boletus, boletus, Russula, caslake and colorful. The net is now considered the territory of the Western part of Polesie.

One of the most interesting places to look for mushrooms – Skole. Near the town is located the national natural Park “skolivski Beskydy”. Here you can walk trails, tour and live in one of the holiday homes. You can get there by public transport from Lviv.
