To provide housing for internally displaced persons requires a $20-40 billion.
This was announced by first Deputy Minister of the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons, Mr. Yusuf Kurkchi.
“This problem is one of the most expensive for the state, as existing at the primary and secondary housing market prices, the cost of the problem rolls over to the unreal for the state scale. We’re talking about $20-40 billion to resolve these issues,” – said the first Deputy Minister at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday, adding that this issue includes the allocation of land, and construction.
Kurkchi said that even if the state had the necessary funds, the decision of the question still would take considerable time. While in the existing waiting list for housing from the state to include migrants, the housing system “will start to slip”.
