The company achieved a net profit of 22.5 billion and paid taxes on 74 billion.
Naftogaz by the end of 2016 received a net profit of 22.53 billion hryvnia against of 35.06 billion net loss in 2015. This is stated in the published consolidated report of the company.
According to the audited Deloitte document revenue from sales in 2016 has increased by 48% (62,50 billion UAH) – 192,76 billion UAH, gross profit – 8.4 times (62,50 billion), up 70,96 billion.
“Naftogaz first time in five years to become profitable, for the first time in ten years did not receive support from the state budget. Our group is the largest taxpayer in Ukraine. We paid to the state budget of 74 billion, or about 10% of its revenues. For comparison, in 2014, Naftogaz accounted for about 25% of budget expenditures”, – are reported words of the head of the company, Andrey KOBOLEV.
