Company The Walt Disney Company, the creators of all the famous cartoons about Mickey mouse, Pocahontas and other beloved characters of your childhood, joined forces with famous metal musicians in order to produce one of the most original albums of recent years – Metal Disney. It is encouraging that to listen to that record we can right here and now. And, as usually happens in memory, all legally and free.
The compilation of collected metal covers of music from the cartoons of Disney. A total of ten tracks, including “Under the Sea” from the little Mermaid, “A Whole New World” from Aladdin, “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from “lion King”. Special mention deserves the track “Mickey Mouse March” and “Disney Medley”.
In the recording featured musicians such commands as “Obsession”, “Ozzy Osbourne”, “Whitesnake” and others, who together called themselves the group “D-Metal Stars”. The vocalist of the newly created team (he is also the lead singer of the band “Obsession”) Michael Wesker doesn’t sing, but says:
It’s where I grew up. You can think differently and play tough hard rock dudes or something, but Disney loved by all. This is the real madness. Do you think that it’s just a children’s song, but when you delve into how this thing was written, you realize how incredible and quality work was done.
In 2016 the album was released in Japan, where he enjoyed great success, after which the release took place in the United States.
