Ex-first racket of the world Andy Murray the day before the start of Wimbledon, has withdrawn from the tournament.
Murray in the first round home Hat had to play with Frenchman Benoit Paire. Because of the long downtime associated with severe trauma, the titled Brit at the last moment refused to fight at Wimbledon, and gave his place in the tournament Jason Jungu from Chinese Taipei.
“Unfortunately, I’m not ready to play pyatisetovy matches. Murray due to problems with his hip missed 11 months. Before Wimbledon, the Scot returned to the court in London, Andy in the first round lost to nick Kyrios and Eastbourne beat Stan Wawrinka and lost to Kyle Edmund.
Skipping Wimbledon have a significant impact on the ranking position for Andy Murray. The Briton will lose points for last year’s exit in the quarter-finals and will be outside the top 800.
