Developers from the Studio TaleWorlds decided to make a surprise action, and for free to give gamers their game to the collection. Medieval action game Mount & Blade from Paradox Interactive to distribute free to all comers.
Free distribution is confined to the conduct of a major tournament for Mount & Blade: Warband called “the Battle of Bucharest”. The championship game will be attended by 20 of the best professional players. The tournament will be held in Romania on 20 and 21 may. The championship will be broadcast on the official Twitch channel TaleWorlds. 15 most active spectators and fans will receive prizes.
Mount & Blade game was released in 2008. The project has a realistic re-creation of the middle Ages without the presence of fantasy elements and mythical creatures. Instead, the developers from the Studio TaleWorlds has focused on the brutal fights of soldiers of the era, using authentic knives. One of the features of the project is the ability to battle on horseback.
