The denouement of the next stage of world championship racing was very dramatic.
At the start of an unexpected leader among a trio of riders “Yamaha” was Joan Zarco, but soon Maverick viñales and Valentino Rossi ahead of its partner.
Gradually viñales established status as the main favourite to win – the Spaniard pulled away a few seconds from Rossi. Multiple world champion was not content with second place Rossi for a few laps to the finish has increased the pressure on Viñales and beat him.
It seemed that the winner of the race is known, however, on the last lap of vastly experienced Rossi fell and handed Vinales third victory of the season. The company the Maverick on the podium was Zarco and Pedrosa.
