Mortar complex gets the exact coordinates of the enemy in real-time.
Mobile mortar complex of bars-8ММК demonstrated its fighting capabilities during the practical artillery exercises and on one of military ranges in Kiev region.
As told in the press service of Ukroboronprom, the kit features a 120 mm mortar and integrated into a digital system of information exchange.
According to legend teachings, he advanced to the position along with traditional mortars.
Given that the time required for the calculation of the new machine to bring it in fighting condition, up to 60 seconds, and target coordinates were instantly processed by the fire control system, bars-8ММК first opened fire and struck all the targets. He is also the first left position, before other mortars have finished fire.
It is noted that mortar complex integrated system of information exchange on the battlefield and the calculation gets the exact coordinates of the enemy in real-time. Such information can simultaneously come from drones, counter-battery radar and other systems.
