Moldova wants a Treaty on dual citizenship with Russia

The President of Moldova Igor Dodon has appealed to the leadership of the Russian Federation with a request to consider the issue concluded between countries of the Agreement on dual citizenship.

The head of Moldova wrote on his page on Facebook after the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Held the second official meeting this year with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Asked to consider the conclusion of the agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Moldova on dual citizenship to Moldovan expatriates living in Russia, was forced to abandon the Moldovan citizenship,” wrote Igor Dodon.
