The European Union notes the progress of reforms in Ukraine, thanks to which the economy strengthens. This was stated by EU high representative for foreign Affairs and security policy Federica Mogherini. This is the official website of the Cabinet.
“We’re seeing that in Ukraine, the government became stronger, strengthened state control and as a result stronger economy. We note macro-stabilization, banking sector reforms, changes in the pension system,” – said Mogerini.
In addition, she congratulated Ukraine on adoption of the state budget for 2018 and noted that it is appropriate to continue the pace of reforms.
The parties also agreed to focus on the continuation of reforms in the energy sector, in particular the reform of Naftogaz of Ukraine, in the fiscal system, the management of state assets.
