The meeting of two eras
At all times people sought to build something new, more perfect, on the Foundation laid by his ancestors.
This idea of the American photographer Zinzani Meng (Meng Qingjian) embodied in his photo project “the gold rush” (“Gold Rush”), which lays a bridge between two eras: the 19th and 21st centuries.
Models who took part in the project, posing in costumes of the 19th century with gadgets, which are an integral part of modern people’s life, e.g., iPad, electronic cigarette or headphones.
