Milon: LGBT flag should be recognized as extremist

State Duma Deputy Vitaly Milonov spoke out against the rainbow flags at meetings in the municipalities. He stated to the correspondent of “Rosbalt” in a telephone conversation.

“His presence strongly should not be allowed in any public space. I believe that the LGBT flag should be recognized as an extremist facility,” — said Milonov.

He also said that the humiliating words of the St. Petersburg municipal Deputy Sergey Troshin that veterans can be of different orientation. Milonov said that it is impossible to deny the “Yabloko” parliamentary mandate.

“When people in positions of authority, insulting people, calling veterans of the blue is, of course, the humiliation of human dignity. He enjoys the fact that veterans are unable to answer him. This, of course, the slap, is a slap in veterans”, — the parliamentarian.

Sergey Troshin elected as a municipal Deputy from the “Apple” in the area of the Foundry in St. Petersburg. During a meeting of the municipal Council, he placed on the table rainbow check box. For this he was condemned by the speaker of the Legislative Assembly Vyacheslav Makarov, what Troshin said: “Veterans, too, are of different orientation.”

Sergey Troshin does not consider his words offensive. “When I said that veterans can have various orientation, I meant that in any society at any time is about 10% of the LGBT people,” — he said “Rosbalt”.
