Microsoft will abandon Windows Vista

The representatives of the American Corporation Microsoft announced that support for Windows Vista will no longer be carried out since April 11.

Basic updates for this operating system ceased to be developed in 2012.

Almost 10 years ago Microsoft released a new OS that from the first months received absolutely diverse responses. The main disadvantage of Windows Vista was a striking contrast of opportunities with Windows 7, which still remains one of the most popular versions. Over time, the interest in Vista, and it came to naught, OS information, less was flickering in the news with Microsoft, so the management decided to close support of the project. Internal company studies found that the December 2016 Windows Vista used less than 1% of the total OS.
